macOS 10.13.2 should fix most of the occurrences, and for other versions the Lightroom team has attempted to work around the problem as much as possible. This is apparently related to macOS graphics issues. The panel and filmstrip areas may black out at times. The Tone Curve may be difficult to control in Sierra.
